Ireland Centenary 1916 Easter Rising Silhouette and Hirsute T-Shirts
Easter falls on the long weekend from Friday 25th to Monday 28th and on the Sunday there will be the principal Easter Sunday State Commemoration Ceremony and a Parade to mark the centenary of the 1916 Rising.
Outside the GPO the ceremony will begin with a reading of the 1916 proclamation followed by The President who will lay a wreath on behalf of the people of Ireland. A minute’s silence will follow for all those who died. The national flag will be raised on top of the GPO to full mast and the ceremony will conclude with the playing of the National Anthem “Amhrán na bhFiann“.
There will be a parade which will begin at St. Stephen’s Green and will be lead by the Defense Forces and all along the parade route there will be big screens to watch the parade unfold. Expect a massive crowd for this and the buzz to be electric.
Here at Mephobia Designs we have gone and created t-shirt designs for Countess Markievicz, Roger Casement, Padraig Pearse, James Connolly, Thomas Clarke, Thomas MacDonagh, Sean MacDermott, Joseph Plunkett & Eamonn Ceannt.
These t-shirts are for men and women. As usual we have placed the designs in both shops, The US Shop and the Euro Store. When ordering it is a quicker delivery from the Euro Store but we both always recommend buying the design from the US Store because it’s cheaper, and delivery is only around a couple of weeks if not faster.
Also, when buying from the US as we have both found out, always buy a size down. In Europe/Ireland I buy large t-shirts but when buying from the US always medium. You can as always, choose what ever colour you like. These designs are part of our Silhouette and Hirsute collection we are creating and are popular and selling well already.
